HMRC have officially arrived in Birmingham!

Following hot on the heels of HSBC, HMRC are the latest tenants to take up ownership of their new flagship HQ in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.

As Business Live reports here, the city’s latest arrivals have taken ownership of their new offices at 3 Arena Central with 3600 staff expected to be working there in early 2021.

This is yet more fantastic news for Birmingham landlords and for potential investors for the future.

Manchester continues to drive forward

We have seen renewed interest in the home of the Northern Powerhouse in recent months as overseas investors take advantage of a city that has a clear and concise plan for its future.

As The Spectator reports here, property prices have risen by 4.2% in the past year whilst it was also placed second in the list for Buy to Let profitability. Who was top you may ask? Well, it was Manchester’s near neighbour Salford occupying top spot so the region as a whole continues to move forward even during difficult times.

Who is top of the regeneration charts?

We are strong advocates for investing in regions where transformation of long neglected city sectors is taking place. The great news is that all over the UK, significant regeneration of some of our major cites is well underway.

Property Reporter has run the numbers and have listed the top 5 in a recent article.

See how many you can guess before checking the results, I am guessing there will be no five out of five predictions!
